Bri and I were so excited for our first time shooting at the new Scripps Seaside Forum, there’s not many places even in San Diego with beach front views like this! From the second we arrived to the moment they had to kick us out, we were in AWE. Couple that with an amazing coordinator, Amanda McPhail of Creative Affairs, and we were truly in a photographic candyland.

We’d like to extend our thanks to Marla+J for inviting us to be part their special day. It may have been one of the most fun events yet! I swear I LOVE a good old fashion chair dance. Nothing like a roller coaster chair ride for a newly married couple with everyone watching! Cheers to almost not falling out. :)

Stay tuned for more…..

It was a perfect day, a perfect night, and a perfect wedding. You know for us, one of the best things about weddings, besides the creative photography of course, is getting to know the families. When a couple is surrounded by love and support from a strong family, it just makes everything that much more amazing. Thank you for the fun memories and stories and cheers to you Michele and Joe, the two of you rock! :)

So as you can imagine when they chose us to photograph the celebration of their future, we knew we’d been blessed. And a very special day it was indeed.

Getting to know Josh and Frances over the last few months, we came to realize they truly are soul mates and fit together perfectly. As the world spins around them, they will always be grounded in their love and respect for one another. Cheers to you both!

Sometimes, Bri and I forget just how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful city. Monica and Bryan (AKA: Evil Kenevil :) could not have chosen a better place for their Wedding. It was an absolutely amazing day! We’ve had the pleasure of knowing Monica for quite some time, she was our very first hair model back many many many haircuts ago when we were just young assistants. 10-ish years ago we met at a Starbucks to talk about hair, now nearly 10 years later we’re talking and laughing about her wedding. Pretty awesome indeed. Oh hey, speaking of awesome…..

Bri and I love Destination Weddings, with this event being no exception! Not only for the obvious amazing scenery, but also because they are always ultra-fast paced and packed with more excitement than you can shake a polaroid at!

But most importantly congratulations to Paul and Julie for getting hitched and thank you inviting us down to capture the celebration. I’m always a sucker for a great love story and Julie and Paul were no exception. We hadn’t heard their story of why they chose San Jose to be wed, but it is an amazing one. I’ll have to let them tell share it with you…

Wow! These families sure know how to have fun! Especially, the late night game, which I’m still a trying to figure out the rules. What friend, what friend, is better than a whose friend???!! UGhh. I’ll guess I’ll just have to review the hours of video we took and get back to you. ;)

When the Reizen’s plan something, they do it right! They had the crazy idea of heading south towards the tip of Baja with a group of their closest friends and family to help celebrate their tying of the knot. The event took place about 35 minutes away from the picturesque and sleepy town of San Jose Del Cabo.

The journey, as outlined by Julie (thank goodness), was by way of a dirt road, a small town, a near-complete marina, a handful of round-a-bouts (to nowhere), and one really stubborn cow. Crazy! – Julie’s hand-written directions weren’t kidding.

Once passed the famous Buzzard’s Bar we arrived at one of the most amazing home we’ve ever had the opportunity to enjoy, a private villa right on the beach. Ahhhhh. It was breath taking!
