Queen Bee and the Bodyguard (Matthews’ Crew)

Easter weekend was spent with the Matthews’ Crew in Balboa Park. It has been a year since we last got to play around with the kids and yes, time flies!! We met up in the parking lot and within seconds Liam was out of the car armed with his bubble gun and mini Ray Ban Aviators, ready to protect his lil sis who was bundled up in this awesome fuzzy yellow and black striped jacket and a hot pink tutu, not to be missed!! They, as with all kids, were loaded with energy and personality and were so much fun. Izzy was convinced there were dinosaurs behind the roll up doors when the organ was being played and tried so hard to get a glimpse. super cute. But like I said, Liam was armed and ready for any dinosaur hiding out in the park.

Balboa Park Sneak Peek with the Matthews’ Crew (CS5)

Okay – Bri has no idea I’m posting this, but since we’re gonna be off the grid for the next week or so, I just had too. (: She recently spent the morning shooting the Matthews’ Family at Balboa Park and this is one of the images I fell in love with instantly. Meet Liam, he’s an awesome little dude with more character than any single rugrat deserves. His focus on this bubble kills me! But, wait until you see his little sister and her favorite hot pink tutu dancing all over the park! Stay tuned….

Btw: I’ve been testing Photoshop CS5 (White Rabbit) for a few months now and it is out of this world! There are a few features that are gonna make our lives so much easier. I can’t say too much (without a really big dude from Adobe showing up on my doorstep and dumping me in a river) but this short little video might.

Hanging with Jay and the Kids in Oceanside

Hey! This is Bri…first post on my own, oh boy!!!

This Friday I got to hang out with Jay Reilly and some other really cool photographers up in Oceanside. We had the luxury to photograph some supermodels having a blast on the beach and around town on a perfect spring break afternoon. Its really amazing the amount of energy these little guys have, I mean they kept going and going and going and couldn’t get enough camera time!!!

(uh oh… first hair, now photography. Really?! How can you possibly be better than me at all of my hobbies?! You better stay away from my Mash Tun. :)

Ocean Beach Skate Park

My good friend Vince and I got to hang with Tyler and Chase at San Diego’s Ocean Beach Skate Park yesterday. What a great time! This was my first experience with a legit Skate Park. There should be tons more of these! Gabe, the door dude and skater professional was awesome with the kids and everyone was having a great time.
